KALÁB – stavební firma, spol. s r.o. has won many awards since its inception.
1st place in the competition "Building of the South Moravia Region 2005" in the category of residential buildings for the Integrovaný dům (Integrated House) on Vídeňská 15, for which the company Kaláb was the supplier as well as the investor.
The company currently has its headquarters in the building.
2nd place in the South Moravian Region in the 2004 “Company of the region competition” (FIRMA KRAJE 2004).
Recipient of 3rd place in the competition for "Building of South Moravia 2005" in the category construction of civic facilities and residential construction. The award was presented by the hetman of the South Moravia Region and the South Moravia Construction Society during a business convention in Czech Republic construction.
Construction Firm of the Year for 2002 (STAVEBNÍ FIRMA ROKU 2002) in the category for firms with up to 200 employees. The competition is organised by the Czech Association of Entrepreneurs in the Construction Industry (Svaz podnikatelů ve stavebnictví v ČR).
For its “Completion and Refurbishment of the DISA v.o.s. Operational Facility in Brno” the company received a NOMINATION FOR BUILDING OF THE YEAR IN 2001 (STAVBA ROKU 2001) for the successful transformation of a very ordinary commercial facility into a company’s working and representative headquarters whilst paying attention to the very good functional organisation and design of the interior. This prize is awarded at the FOR ARCH International Building Fair. The competition is organised by the ABF Foundation for the Development of Architecture and the Construction Industry (ABF Nadace pro rozvoj architektury a stavebnictví), STAVITEL magazine, the company Economia a.s. (joint-stock co.), the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Association of Entrepreneurs in the Construction Industry.
A prize from STAVITEL MAGAZINE FOR ARCHITECTURAL DETAIL for the “Completion and Refurbishment of the DISA v.o.s. Operational Facility in Brno” – a very refined representation of the optical and functional separation of the representative, office and manufacturing parts of the building with the use of simple visual and structural elements.
